Along with writing books, I am a practicing psychotherapist treating individuals and couples in New York City and Westchester. I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brown University and two master's degrees in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College at Columbia University. But that was a long time ago... Now I'm getting certified in CBT from the Beck Institute in P.A. because learning is my favorite. I'm a native New Yorker, a lifelong Yankee fan, a lover of Guns n Roses and Metallica, and always willing to stay up late for a good chat. I love to hear from readers, and I'm happy to participate in book club discussions of any of my books. (If you ask me REALLY nicely, I'll tell you which three famous movies I've hidden in each of my books and my anthology contribution... some are more well-hidden than others.) Stay tuned for future works, as soon as my kids are old enough to stop poking the delete button while I'm writing masterpieces, and my dog stops snoring like a bulldozer.
