Peter J. Schubert is a licensed Professional Engineer and holder of 43 patents in the US, plus 13 in the EU. He has published over 100 technical papers, including 10 book chapters, and one book titled Space Systems Architecture for Resource Utilization (Cambridge Scholars Publishing). He is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and serves as Director of the Richard G. Lugar Center for Renewable Energy (www.lugarenergycenter.org). In addition, Peter serves as the Board Chair for The Andromeda Movement, Inc. (https://www.andromedamovement.org/), which awards scholarships to college students pursuing careers in aerospace. Schubert is also the CEO and President of Green Fortress Engineering, Inc., working to commercialize green hydrogen production, solid-state hydrogen storage, and in situ resource utilization technologies to provide energy independence for customers. He has led research from NASA, DOE, NSF, and the Dept. of Defense, and served as a Fulbright Specialist for the US Dept. of State. Schubert lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife and their twin quarantine puppies.
