Finally found the approach I needed.
I’ve lived in Spain for the last year and have been desperate to make inroads to speaking Spanish. I’ve listened to the Paul Noble courses but I’ve made little real headway. These guys have an intelligent approach that is subtly immersive. Whereas some courses are frustratingly basic and others have far too steep a learning curve, the SuperPolyglotbros’ approach has given me traction and I am incredibly grateful. I really wanted to speak Spanish and was fearing that I was simply incapable. These guys’ fun yet intense approach has been the magic bullet for me.

Boring, phrasebook Spanish
I have to say I found this really boring. It was effectively being given a list of words followed by the sorts of phrases you'd get in a phrasebook.
A lot of English speaking from the narrators too. Shouldn't there be more Spanish than English in a product designed to teach Spanish?
From the advertising, I thought this might be interesting but it just felt like the sort of lessons we used to get at school. And why is there the obsession at the beginning with asking where the bus stop is again and again and again?
Overall for me it was just much too much English and with some weird phrases like "And a tea is very English!". I can't imagine when this sort of phrase is likely to come in handy.
I listened to this on my laptop, hoping it would make me more able to chat in Spanish with the locals when I go to Spain but I can't see how this would ever be effective at doing that.

Why this is the best introduction to Spanish
Michael and Matthew (aka The Superpolyglotbros) are brilliant at explaining HOW and WHY Spanish works. With great care, intelligence and charm they take you through the basics in a way that is far easier to understand and engage with than the three other methods I have tried. I bought their audiobook as revision, but instead found I was learning loads more than I thought I knew. Fantástico!

Excellent!
I’ve been learning Spanish through books written and audibles and YouTube vids and of course Netflix.
I wasn’t sure if this would be good for me but it’s fantastic! Not just for beginners but for intermediates too, the way the brothers teach is really natural and fun and I’ve learnt so much from it that has stuck in my mind.
I’ve just finished the whole thing and am going to start again.
The Paul Noble spanish courses available on audible are excellent too and there’s a beginner and intermediate one and Spanish with Paul on YouTube.
I highly Recomend this book and believe it will really help you on your spanish learning journey.

Not as good as Paul Noble
This is more like a structured text book with sections on vocab, grammar, cheats. Having tried both, Paul Nobles more natural approach works better for me.

A good method
This course would be of most benefit to someone who wishes to go to a Spanish speaking country and be able to get by. It would be the difference between arriving in the country and your first words being, "Do you speak English" and, being able to say something in Spanish. The course had a good level of progress for me (not too fast or slow) with attention given to the fundamentals of hearing, speaking and pronunciation. It might have helped in the conversations if they had spoken a little bit slower, especially in the earlier chapters.
Much appreciated brothers, thanks,
