Summary

Have you ever wondered how to introduce children to the world of programming? Or do you simply want to know for yourself?

This audiobook assumes no programming knowledge at the start, so we’ll be teaching you from the ground up. After all, you can’t really teach kids effectively what you don’t know yourself!

This book contains helpful tutorials and actual programming (not Sketch or a similar non-industry kind of programming). Programming languages come and go, which is why this audiobook includes sample tutorials in most of the world’s common entry-level languages such as Java, Ruby, and Python.

The first thing you (as well as kids) probably think of when someone mentions programming is most likely video games, so we came prepared. In this audiobook, we explain how video games are made, and there is also a fun exercise on making a video game (albeit it’s nothing complicated).

You’ll find a true trove of information that teaches you (or kids) not only the raw theory but also some practical applications.

Learn to program not just by staring at a computer screen, but also from building useful applications. From a clock to a calendar, you and/or the kids are bound to have a blast!

Did you know that programming is one of the fastest growing fields? Do you want to have a head start in the job market by learning some of the world’s most popular programming languages? Do you feel that informatics is indispensable in today’s increasingly digital world? If the answers to these questions are yes, then look no further. Buy this audiobook and let’s go on a journey, discovering programming along the way!

GOOD

It's written in child inviting language with a web safe mentality, so it would likewise be flawless as an independently directed learning instrument outside of the study hall also.

Interesting book

I am going to be teaching a coding camp this summer at the school I work at, and am excited to use this to introduce programming to younger kids here.

Bought for my son

Seems well written. Definately python is more for kids 9+ who have the patience for it, not the easy wins of projects in scratch...

Knowledge Is power!

I bought this as a gift for a niece and I was so impressed how fun and easy it was to use I decided to try it out for myself. I eventually gave it back to her of course. I highly recommend for all ages and it's knowledge.

It's pretty helpful for adults

I found it useful to follow his instructions exactly as written. It's still a good way to teach yourself how to program and take away the skills and apply them to other things.
