Excellent line up!

All dealing with unfairness, injustice and discrimination in a humorous, sometimes dark but really relatable way. Thase performers are truly talented - to take a subject matter that has clearly shaped and impacted how they have lived and effected their mental health, and turned it around to create a funny, entertaining and enlightening comedy show is masterful. Well done all. I'm a small voice here but I wish you all the best in your future careers in comedy. Really worth a listen! Bravo.

Laugh out loud funny

Daliso was new to me and I was delighted to find this show to be laugh out loud funny as well as intelligent, thought provoking and tender at times.
Tom Stade was completely outrageous and built up to being hysterically funny. You can hear the audience weeping with laughter. Highly recommended!

A good laugh

A good mix of comedians that I hadn’t heard of until now (my own fault, of course).

Daliso Chaponda came 3rd in Britain’s Got Talent and is riding a wave of success. His comedy addresses issues of race, politics and British culture, to a British audience’s embarrassment.

Lauren Pattison is a young woman who leaves her boyfriend behind in Newcastle for life as a comedian in London, then, from what I can gather, he tries to ruin her newfound confidence without him for the next 18 months. She deals with it well though, and her show is well written and likable.

Tom Stade sounds like a shouty American on tour and is full of good advice. His delivery sounds like an overly confident drunk man at a bar, but that is part of his charm. Some laugh out loud moments.

Joe Sutherland took the gay flight out of the Midlands for the life of a sex working comedian in the capital, but he should definitely give up the sex work and stick to comedy because he’s a natural.

Real food for thought from all four comedians along with plenty of laughs. I’m going to invest in the rest of the series.
