Summary

Use this book to learn how to fight anxiety!

Are you suffering from anxiety? Looking for a way to manage your fears?

If yes, read on! This book will help you overcome your fears and live a happy and healthy life!

Anxiety seems to come from nowhere for most people, and strike them like a sledgehammer. One minute, you're living your life more or less peacefully; the next, frightened and depressed, maybe struggling to breathe, convinced you're dying, or someone else is going to die, and it's all going to be your fault. Perhaps you're seeing a doctor right away, maybe you're struggling on your own for as long as you can, but you're going to be told sooner or later that it's anxiety.

Many people use self-help to stage a complete recovery. Others may also need a professional's help to finish their research, but they may go into the sessions armed with self-knowledge and a greater understanding of their illness. Anxiety, that's a black hole. It sucks your dreams, your desires, your expectations for the future, and your strength above all. But it's picky. It lays doubts, worries, and fatigue. It's no wonder that you feel like picking yourself up to find the resources for a treatment program. No wonder you're feeling like being in your safe place and doing as little as you can.

You can transform this to your favor. It is possible to get back out from anxiety's dark hole. This book aims to help you set up a rehabilitation plan that you can easily follow. Working at your own pace, you will learn to let go of anxiety and recover your life in small measures.

This amazing book is sure to help you find:

  1. Relief from the worst forms of anxiety and improved control of daily life
  2. Recovery from the latest bout of anxiety
  3. Future problem-solving skills
  4. Growth as an individual, and an increase in unused potential
  5. A way to handle your emotions in a relationship crisis

And lots more!

You don’t have to bear that burden alone. Get this book to help you manage your anxieties in every situation you may find yourself in, and, ultimately, help you live your best life.

Well written and inspiring

Thoroughly researched. Patiently written account of how one can tackle the perils of untreated anxiety. In fact the authors reveal that anxiety is a good thing, prompting action and change. Not only do they make a persuasive argument for it as a vital mechanism for growth, they provide guidelines for using it, recognizing what it’s trying to tell you and implementing the changes required to alleviate your anxiety...then repeating those steps each time it arises to keep your anxiety manageable.

This book gave me hope

I always thought of anxiety as something that was unhealthy and incapacitating, but this new book has changed my perspective by revealing how anxiety can actually be good and constructive -- something we can use to our advantage. Her book is relatable and easy to read, providing scientific background and scholarly research along with thoughtful, practical tools for how to take control and use anxiety to your advantage. I am buying a copy for all of my friends and family who have anxiety or love someone who does.

5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend this book

This book is life-changing. If you are curious to learn more about anxiety, panic attacks, etc. or hoping to retrain your anxious thoughts, I highly recommend this book. It helps you rationalize and think-through your anxious thoughts and find ways to tolerate the anxiety. The exercises can be a little overwhelming at times, but they do help you think differently about anxiety. If you are on the fence, buy it. It's worth every penny and then some.

Excellent workbook for more advanced CBT skills fo

I am a cognitive behavior therapist specializing in anxiety disorders. I often recommend this book to my clients who have generalized anxiety, excessive worry, panic attacks or social anxiety. I consider this to be an advanced workbook as it is more helpful to people who have already listen a more basic workbook on anxiety or clients who already have a basic understanding of CBT.

The Cure!

This workbook is life changing. Granted, there is a lot of work you must put into it. I dedicated an hour everyday to doing the worksheets and listening the book, and it still took about a month to complete. Definitely worth every second I invested to putting forth the effort to rid myself of anxiety.

I have Social Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder with agoraphobia and PTSD. This has been a huge help in learning how to manage my anxiety and not let it control me. I will be trying similar workbooks in the future.

If you’re thinking about it, just buy it. You dese

I wish I knew of this workbook sooner. In today’s world most doctors will just fill you with medications without even suggesting therapy. I bought this book as a tool to use while trying to understand my panic and anxiety and get my life back, while looking for a new therapist and tapering off of my medication. I have a lot going on. I am a recovering alcoholic who no longer uses a bottle to self-medicate and who is no longer willing to “take a pill and feel fine”. I want my life back on my terms. I’m fairly confident this workbook will help me become the person, the mom, the wife that I once was.
