Summary
Aria and her sisters return to the Human Realm of Haven Falls to find one of their own that’s gone missing. They soon discover things have changed in the Human Realm and that nothing is what it seems, including Knox, the egotistical, self-centered, frustratingly gorgeous man who declared himself King during their absence.
Sparks fly when the two enter a fiery battle of wills as Aria learns she is more than just a witch in the Hecate bloodline; she is much, much, more.
Will Aria embrace her savage side to find her sister and save her family, or will she burn to ashes from his heated kisses and burning hot embrace?
Knox has ulterior motives for being in Haven Falls and never expected the little witch to show up and brazenly challenge his rule.
It was supposed to be easy; get in and get out. Move pieces into place and set the stage for the war he’s been planning for over 500 years. Aria is his sworn enemy but something within her calls to him and he hates himself for craving the fiery kisses that have reignited his cold, dead heart. One taste, and he thought he could get her out of his system. He was wrong.
Will Knox let go of the memories of the past, driving his need for revenge that will destroy the pretty little witch he craves, or will he push the boundaries to fight for and claim what is his by right? Either way, war is inevitable. And nothing will stop him from reaching for what is his.
Epic fantasy with heavy love-hate situations with adult situations.

Perfect
It has the perfect amount of humor and anguish which is hard to find in most books, the story line is so brilliant, the characters are raw and flawed, i just love everything about amelias books, i havent anything that comes close to her books.

I Loved This Book!✨️💥
Flames of Chaos: Legacy of the Nine Realms, Book 1.
By: Amelia Hutchins
Audiobook 🎧
Narrators: Stella Hunter, Brian Pallino
Length: 14 hrs and 58 mins
A 4.5 Star Gripping Read!⭐️
I was immediately hooked by the story and especially the hate/hate of the two main characters. I honestly felt so bad for Aria, the way Knox treated her after her deflowering - urgh, such a pig!😠🙄
The knots that Knox has tied himself in over Aria are kind of sad. I really do feel for him. I do think their quest is too extreme, though. Although I'd probably feel the same in his shoes.😔 I really like Lore so far.
I was so pleased with twists Aria had built in.👏
I did find some descriptive parts really repetitive, like they hadn't been caught in editing, maybe?🤔 I'm excited to start book 2.

Amazing Story and Amazing Narration
Oh my goodness this book was amazing!!! I have read all of books in the Fae series by Amelia Hutchins so I had high expectations already going into this but it just blew my mind.
I listened to the Audio version and Stella Hunter was truly amazing bringing Aria to life.
Like all Amelia’s stories, we have a sassy, back chatting, kick ass heroine and a total dick head at the start of the story and I kinda hate alpha male. Knox makes Ryder and Lucian from the Fae series seem like gentlemen compared to him and I loved it. The only guy that comes close to this level of dickery is Blane from Claiming the Dragon King. For those of you that have read those books you will know what I mean.
Sorry for talking about those books as this is a completely separate series, I genuinely just love Amelias style of characters.
We start of with Aria Primrose Hecate of the Hecate witch bloodline arriving in Haven Falls in search of her sister who has gone missing. Here she meets Knox who is hot as all hell but really the worst. He treats her like dirt and while everyone around him falls at his feet she goes toe to toe with the egomaniac. The banter between this pair is amazing and the chemistry sizzling. They both feel this pull to each other and fight it as they completely hate one another. Him because he despises witches especially Hecate and her because of his almost irredeemable downright nasty treatment of her.
I don’t want to give too much of the story away as spoilers are the worst and going in fresh is best.
If you liked her previous books you will adore this. It’s completely different from her other stories but the style is similar. It’s an adult PNR with an alpha asshole with a filthy mouth and a kick ass female with an ‘I won’t bow to anyone’ attitude and a little more power that is yet to be revealed.
If you are new to Amelia I envy you. You will fall in love and read all the books she has out there.
Right now I’m wondering can I wait for the audio releases of the next 2 books? I may try as like I said, that version was superb! One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened too. Good narration is key even when the story is beyond epic.
If I could give more I would - 5/5
