Incredible resource for the caregiver

Forget me not is a compassionate guide through a very difficult, trying and emotionally draining time. Tori provides support that only someone who has personally experienced this situation could give. The information is presented in such a practical way, that I felt I could share the advice after listening. We lost my grandmother to a neurodegenerative disorder, and how I wish I had access to this book at that time. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is experiencing compassion fatigue, or anyone who works in this field. Thank you for writing such a comprehensive guide, a light during a dark time.

Amazing and practical

I find it very challenging to care for my aging folks and balance caring for myself. I tend to swing between the extremes - I either over-give or almost withhold care. This book is a useful resource. It has helped me to see that it is not selfish to take care of myself as well. I really needed the strategies for communicating well through the process.

A must read with lots of great guidance

I love this book. As someone who is currently at the start of this journey - and who has felt a bit overwhelmed - it was incredibly helpful. It sometimes feels as if there is so much that you don’t know and the author breaks all the steps down to make it feel manageable. It is also very practical where it needs to be - which is exactly what is needed - insurance, authorities, planning, and it even covers the different types of conditions - again all useful and helpful. It was also particularly good to know that the caregiver needs help and support too and I really appreciated hearing this.

I enjoyed the print book so much that I wanted to have the audible version so that I can listen when I am walking and there is so much more I have picked up.

For anyone starting out on this journey I really can’t recommend this highly enough.

Personal Experience is first hand information

Such personal experience is always first hand information to help others jump the hurdle much easily. The author really took her time and and invested in some research to put together such a book, from a friend to a friend, so people can understand the beginnings of) Alzheimer.
The narration was pleasen to the ear.
