About this listen
A grieving wolf. A hunted fox. Fated mates, thrown together by chance, and the looming threat of a fabled Huntsman who might tear them apart forever.
Fox shifter Liam Reynard is running from a killer. He uproots his life to find sanctuary in Fox Hollow, deep in the Adirondack Forest in New York.
When his car breaks down, sexy wolf shifter Russ Lowe comes to the rescue, and one touch makes it clear they're fated mates. Neither man was looking for love, and both are still mending from past heartbreak. When mysterious fires and disappearances threaten Fox Hollow, Liam fears the killer is hot on his trail. Can he protect the town and his fated mate from the evil hunting him, or will an ex-lover's betrayal cost Liam everything he loves?

Fine enough
I enjoyed the book but I still have mixed feelings about it. I was here for the romance and I felt a bit disappointed in that regard. I know it's inta-love but there wasn't enough romance-or at least, it wasn't developed enough to my taste. As for the Huntsman plot, I didn't find it that interesting, even to the point where I would have liked a "simpler" plot (basically more or less the same but without the huntsman part so the story could have focused more on the romance aspect). In short, I found the book was not enough to be a character-driven nor a plot-driven story, and certainly not enough to be a bit of both. It was enjoyable but I'll probably quickly forget about it.
Also, the narrator, John Solo, did great!

Good book
I enjoyed the book. It was a light book with mild angst. It was a fated mates book, so the romance was very quick. There was no hopping into bed in every chapter but there was still some romance with a story and not a book written for the purpose of s*x. There wasn't a cliff hanger, the mystery was solved. The narrator was very good with different character voices. It's too bad that book 2 in the series isn't on Audible so I will have to read it on Kindle. Overall, I liked this book.
