Summary
With Paul Noble’s simple, relaxed approach you will learn in a way that suits you – without having to memorise long lists of words you won’t use, scribbling notes as you listen, or feeling frustrated. Instead, Paul will introduce you to the basics of the German language and guide you through over 12 hours of everyday scenarios – from simple situations like asking for directions and eating out to talking about yourself and how to master the different tenses – that are practical, fun, and applicable. Just listen, interact, and learn wherever you are.
Whatever your experience with languages, whether you’re an absolute beginner or someone with basic knowledge who wants to improve their ability, this is the course to get you speaking German quickly, confidently, and with no chance of failure.
A native-speaking German expert will help you to perfect your pronunciation as you progress through the course. You will learn a huge range of vocabulary in no time at all, and be able to quickly make your new knowledge work for you in a variety of everyday scenarios. A downloadable booklet is also included to use as a reference and revision tool.
Paul Noble left school unable to speak a language – having found that the traditional learning methods left him feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. Determined that there must be a better way to learn, Paul spent years devising his own unique method of learning languages which cuts out all the grammar, all the memorisation, and all the stress. He began using his method to teach in his Language Institute and, thousands of students later, he prides himself on never having had a student fail.
This download contains the entire course – Parts 1, 2, and 3. To continue your language learning journey once you’ve completed this course, download Next Steps in German with Paul Noble for Intermediate Learners – Complete Course.

Adding to my knowledge
I am going through many mental issues and learning languages was one of the things recommended to me when I go to bed at night. It stops me from ruminating my horrible thoughts.
Paul has a relaxing voice and so does the German lady speaking German.
It is adding to my German skills I already had and is so easy to follow. Paul is very clear to try not to concentrate on remembering all that he teaches and it works.
I have French and Spanish too so it gives a hint on how easy they are to use, as well as the perfect nice relaxing remedy for my mental issues. Brilliant.

Incredibly impressed!
What made the experience of listening to Learn German with Paul Noble: Complete Course: German Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach the most enjoyable?
My daughters (8 and 10) and I decided to learn German and within a day we could all three say basic (but impressively long) sentences. So clear and simple to follow and Paul explains in a way that we remember the grammar and vocabulary very easily. All three of us have immersed ourselves in German with enthusiasm and joy. Thank you Paul Noble!

Absolutely brilliant
I really, really enjoyed this. I relearnt previous things I had forgotten, and a whole lot more. Easy to understand, paced perfect, and I couldn't wait to go and practise my German. Now I want to learn more and I'm looking for more advanced German learning books.
Only grumble, if I really had to find one, is that Pauls voice was so soothing I'd find myself asleep after 10 minutes, so I listened to it before bed. I don't feel there was 6000 words to learn either, maybe 1000 but I really feel I will remember them in the long term.
Highly recommended.

This is just the first few lessons at half-pace
I can imagine this book is good for absolute beginners who lack confidence and want to get a toe hold in the German language. Anybody else, just forget it.
Paul Noble seems to be marketed online as the solution to all the challenges that come with learning a language. That is fantastic marketing for selling books and courses to people who aspire to learning a language. But this audiobook is really just a dumbed down version of beginner lessons padded out at half-pace with plenty of repetition (good for beginners) and waffle (not good for anybody). I got six hours in and decided it was a waste of my time as I am not a beginner.
He spends so much time waffling because he doesn't want to use the words "subject" and "object". In my opinion, if you cant understand even the subject and the object of a sentence then you are never going to be able to get very far with German grammar which means you just arent going to be able to get very far with German.
The explanation of the relationship between English and German is very interesting. That is really the only positive.

A very good tool for linking together the language
Would you consider the audio edition of Learn German with Paul Noble: Complete Course: German Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach to be better than the print version?
I haven't looked at the printed version, but I found the audible version quite brilliant as I could take it, listen and learn, anywhere. Unlike other on-line language courses.... I'm only interested in speaking the language, not reading or writing it.
What did you like best about this story?
I did know quite a few german words already, I spent a couple of years in Germany as a teenager. However, Paul Noble's course helped me put all those words into sentences, make sense of sentence structure, so that I can take any new words and use them. I found myself able to speak more confidently in every day situations (we spend quite a bit of time in German and North Italy).
Which character – as performed by Paul Noble – was your favourite?
Paul Noble.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Patience and structure
Any additional comments?
I would like a more advanced course to follow on.

Best way to learn a new language
I was skeptical having never really taken to languages at school but I listen now for about 20minutes a day when I walk the dog. after a couple of months I can actually recall useful German in a snap in response to simple questions or asking for things. It’s great and I’ve downloaded all of Paul’s other books.

Sooo slow and repetitive...
What would have made Learn German with Paul Noble: Complete Course: German Made Easy with Your Personal Language Coach better?
Paul Noble's explanations were so long-winded and his delivery was sooo slow and repetitive that I had to abandon the course as I was in danger of throwing something at my car's audio system! A shame as the German speaker was very clear and easy to copy.
