Summary
With Paul Noble’s simple, relaxed approach you will learn in a way that suits you – without having to memorise long lists of words you won’t use, scribbling notes as you listen, or feeling frustrated. Instead, Paul will introduce you to the basics of the Italian language and guide you through over 13 hours of everyday scenarios – from simple situations like asking for directions and eating out to talking about yourself and how to master the different tenses – that are practical, fun, and applicable. Just listen, interact, and learn wherever you are.
Whatever your experience with languages, whether you’re an absolute beginner or someone with basic knowledge who wants to improve their ability, this is the course to get you speaking Italian quickly and confidently.
A native-speaking Italian expert will help you to perfect your pronunciation as you progress through the course. You will learn a huge range of vocabulary in no time at all, and be able to quickly make your new knowledge work for you in a variety of everyday scenarios. A downloadable booklet is also included to use as a reference and revision tool.
Paul Noble left school unable to speak a language – having found that the traditional learning methods left him feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. Determined that there must be a better way to learn, Paul spent years devising his own unique method of learning languages which cuts out all the grammar, all the memorisation, and all the stress. He began using his method to teach in his Language Institute and, thousands of students later, he prides himself on never having had a student fail.
This download contains the entire course – Parts 1, 2, and 3. To continue your language learning journey once you’ve completed this course, download Next Steps in Italian with Paul Noble for Intermediate Learners – Complete Course.

Very impressive!
It will surprise you how much you have picked up by the end as long as you are listening regularly. Nice, straight forward format of book that definitely works to get you started in a new language. I definitely recommend if you are serious about learning a language.

Gives you some confidence
We were able to go to italy this year on hols but had only 5 weeks notice so I bought this course to help with a little basic language use.
It feels very slow and a bit dreary but it is effective.
I finished the course and relistened to the summary, which is the last half an hour, a few times.
Much of the holiday we were able to stick to italian to ask about things and to buy provisions which felt very empowering.
I think the course is like a scaffold and you can add any words you pick up, to it ,to expand its usefulness.
If you buy this, answer all the questions out loud, that way you get used to actually saying them instead of just knowing that you should say them and then feeling too self conscious to do so.
There are numbers near the end of the course and although they are useful, you really need to practice hearing them spoken as prices because it sounds very different to hear a shopkeeper telling you it is '45.20' than it does to hear the recorded voice say single numbers clearly.
You will not be having long conversations at the end of this course, nor will it help you to catch what is being said in rapid italian .If you want those things then michell thomas or pimsleur would be more useful but for a quick cram before the hols when you know no italian, it is well worth it.

Amazing way to learn the basics of Italian.
I really enjoyed this audio book to Learn Italian. Paul Noble teaches you in a way that over the course of the book everything seems to stick. this is coming from someone who has an awfull memory. I would highly recommend this to any beginners who find learning a language difficult through normal text books.

Excellent resource
I can recommend this course: it is well planned and it uses the latest techniques for effective language learning. I've tried others over the last ten years but non are as good as this one. It is easy to follow and to complete: once finished you will be in a very strong position to continue with your study of italian. it lays a good foundation based on the modal verbs and also introduces you easily to both past and future tenses. Language learning has never been easier! Highly recommended: I wish I'd found this course ten years ago.

It's wrong
I went through the first chapter with my Italian Girlfriend, and she explained how they have used third person for you have (Ha) instead of second... so people who have studied this are probably speaking Italian but in wrong terms what a shame.
