Exceptional
Everyone should read this book, it is fantastic. Please can you have more of the Author's books on audible. Paris is also a fabulous book, would be great to be able to listen to more

A wonderful portrayal of a city
It seems that it will be too long a listen, but no, as you go on with this long story, you are dragged in and the culmination in the last paragraph brings a worthy conclusion. More than a history, but things you vaguely knew ( and those you didn’t) are revealed as you listened. Well worth the hours spent!

great from start to finish it was a long book but kept me captivated all the way through . really would like a set of family trees so I can associate hot abit list sometimes

Another excellent Edward Rutherford title
I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Edward Rutherford books that I have read/listened to. They are all clearly very well researched and the family traits that thread through each book are brilliant.
Audible production very well done too.
Highly recommended.
