loved
I loved the warm narration of Deryn Oliver. Perfect for this book
This is a warm, funny and quirky! Loved the wonderful picture of India and Indian life that made you feel welcomed into the family. I loved the friendship between Tabby and Maya. A great warm listen.

Like a favorite Curry, this story is comfort food
I must admit there was quite a bit of eye rolling at some of the incompetents of the main character but I found myself enjoying this quirky story. I listen to it during my morning walks and often realized I was walking slower than usual so I could listen a little longer.
I was given a promotional review copy and this is my honest opinion.

3 star listen
Gifted audio in exchange for an honest review
3 star listen, I enjoyed the narration.
I found myself giggling at times, the fmc is a flake but still has slightly more than air on her head. She is very kind hearted and hasn’t seen property or a third world country before. Going to India is a cultural shock.
Hea
No smut
I’d put this into chick lit
Good pallet cleanser between deeper reads.

British humor
Tammy gave me a migraine with her crazy ways. It took me the whole story before I could tolerate her. She was innane and over the top. I wondered about the sanity and mental capacities of most of the characters. All in all, it was British humor and entertaining. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.
