Wonderfully imaginative & gripping from the start
I have enjoyed this series immensely, its wholly unique take on a monster murder mystery had me from the start and I quickly became invested in the vibrant cast of characters.
The series itself was beautifully crafted, each book blending smoothly into the wider arch of the story while having its own distinct place within. There was satisfactory character development, which is always great, and I was sad to get to the end.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good murder mystery with historical backdrop, the monster element just adds a little je ne sais quoi that I loved. 10/10 will listen again

Well worth listening to a very good storyline
A really good listen, the narration was excellent. Could not stop listening to it the characters draw you in

Thoroughly enjoyable

Delightful and Imaginative
I bought the first 3 books set as something to pass time. I have been thoroughly intrigued by the series. Although not to my typical genre, I was captivated by the series and binged on it. The reader is excellent.

loved it!!!
this book has everything to keep you gripped I absolutely loved it only downside was that I couldn't listen to the full series before this one called tournament of Shadows hope it's recorded soon
