Uncomfortable but important and so practical
I really didn’t enjoy listening to this, I’m not going to lie. But, you know what, I’m glad my doppelgänger decided I needed to download it. Gemma is quite simply no-nonsense helpful. I didn’t enjoy it BECAUSE EVERYTHING SHE SAYS IS TRUE!!!! And my inner judge doesn’t like the fact that this is a serious weakness of mine. If you think you may be interested or need it, just give it a go - what’s to lose? She’s not like me AT ALL. And that’s why she’s brilliant. Thank you. 2023, let’s make a change…

Narrated by the Author which for me makes this....
I had been indecisive on whether to buy the hardcopy, kindle or audio for this book. I decided on buying the Kindle version and the audible so that I could go between the two. The fact its narrated by Gemma really brings across her passion and I have really enjoyed this book. Full of down to earth useful tips without jargon. Fab book.

I can’t stop listening to this
I love this book. I love Gemma’s voice, I can’t stop listening. I’ve found myself nodding along to it.
If you want some practical advice, not just about money but about anxiety as well. Saying it like it is which we never do.
It’s truthful and will give you a fresh perspective on money and life.

Disappointed
The title made me think it was saving tips for the average UK working mum but its so not. I don’t think this person is in a position to give average mums tips on savings when she buys her kids Monclear coats every winter. How many of the average uk working families can afford them. Also just what we all need is advice on how to get a cheap Gucci handbag because all of us mums have them (cheap or not!) The books definitely needs renaming! Stopped about 1/3 way through when I just thought - You really don’t have a clue what been broke truly is!

provided nothing new, all the information is readily available free on internet. I don't leaves reviews but after the hype wanted to save others money by not buying or using a credit for this book.
