From Book 1: What impact would it have when everything suddenly faded to black?
For Mia, a crowded subway ride changes her entire life. Retreating to the wilderness helps her cope with a world that is suddenly too loud, too turbulent.
Her existence safely contained to the small cottage on the lake, she is unprepared for the neighbor who moves across the bay.
A career-ending injury has Jared permanently benched. His reputation as The Enforcer won’t survive the unanticipated responsibilities awaiting him.
Away from the public eye, he adjust to his new reality, under the quiet observation of the intriguing hermit on the other side of the water.

Great collection of books
i found this trio of books very relatable especially as they featured middle aged couples. the stories are well written and the narrations are good too. if you like small town romance with real people and stories with depth to them, then this is for you and getting 3 books for a single credit makes it even better. I thoroughly enjoyed them and highly recommend them.

All three books are great. A lot of heartfelt moments in these books. The couples are all around 40 years old. The characters are great people that you can relate to. These are all standalone books. If bought separately you would not need to read them in order, there are no reoccurring characters amongst the books. I enjoyed the narration. I believe they were different narrators for all three books. I definitely recommend this set of books. 🎧Audiobook Obsession

Not great
Book 1: 2 stars
Book 2: 3 stars
Book 3: 2.5/3 stars
Didn’t really like the characters in the first book and the narration was annoying. The second book had a better plot and the narration in this book was much better than the other two. Book 3 was ok, but still found myself getting bored and switching off. I literally fell asleep and then had to go back to listen again to find out what I missed, then was relieved when it was over.
