Summary

Breowakoe opened his eyes, unable to remember his own murder or anything from the time that he lived. When the sandstorms cleared, he could see that he was in a massive underground tunnel. A black city rising from the arid wastes eclipsed an ominous feral star hanging low in the indiscriminate distance. This strange hell, the Spoil, is home to the wicked and the demonic, but through mastery of thripsis—the energy of hell—one may become strong. There are torturous trials ahead, but with resolve and the help of an ancient centipede-demoness, Kaimaradan, Breowakoe may be granted a second chance at life.
