Summary

Did you always want to learn computer programming, but you had to give up because you thought it was difficult? Did you ever believe programming could be fun?

If the answer is yes to those questions, you have come to the right place. This audiobook will change the way you think about programming.

This audiobook is not just for kids. Many adults benefit from a beginner’s level, especially with programming.

Python is an expressive and powerful language that is very easy to learn and is fun to work with. Most books that will teach you about programming with Python are boring and dull; that's why nobody has fun while learning the language.

Luckily, this audiobook will introduce you to the world of programming. It covers the basics of programming with Python and uses examples that feature wizards, monsters, ravens, and much more. You will learn new terms and understand the nitty-gritty of coding as well.

Many chapters in the audiobook come with some exercises that you can perform to improve your programming skills and deepen your understanding of the language. You will also learn how to draw using Python in the end.

Furthermore, the audiobook will help you:

  • Work with data structures like lists, tuples, and maps
  • Organize the statements in the code using functions and modules
  • Draw different patterns and shapes using the Turtle module
  • Create some games and applications using Python

Why should only adults have all the fun? Get a copy of the audiobook and enter the world of programming!

Amazing book

this one is great because it actually has examples that have some focus that builds upon itself as opposed to a few dry examples just to get a point across.

Not just for kids, and looking at some of the other reviews. I've gone through a few python books to bolster my scripting skills

Helpful guide

The introductory chapter on classes and objects is not bad, but the topic is beyond what most kids will need, and they should really focus on imperative / procedural programming first using just lists and dictionaries as their basic data structures.

Great gift idea

Seems well written. Definately python is more for kids 9+ who have the patience for it, not the easy wins of projects in scratch...

Knowledge Is power!

I bought this as a gift for a niece and I was so impressed how fun and easy it was to use I decided to try it out for myself. I eventually gave it back to her of course. I highly recommend for all ages and it's knowledge.

Cool Book, Well Written

I listened this audiobook myself as well as passing it on to my kids. My 10 year old daughter was able to comprehend and understand so it should be suitable for nearly anyone interested in learning Python.

My son is blazing through this book!

It is very easy to follow and very informative. My son has no problem picking up information out of it. I was surprised by the order of the concepts but it doesn't hurt the flow.

It's pretty helpful for adults

I found it useful to follow his instructions exactly as written. It's still a good way to teach yourself how to program and take away the skills and apply them to other things.

Python Programming for Kids

I teach Python to kids. I've looked at just about every Python book for kids, and this is the best one. It is not perfect, but it explains things in an easy enough manner for kids to learn on their own if they miss a class. So I use it as the guide book for my classes.
