Summary
Responsible for her friend's death, Lieutenant Caslin Ahn wants nothing more than to be left alone. My favourite so far
This book really does a good job of fleshing out the characters of the series so far. It is probably the best story since the first book and my favourite so far as I am invested in the characters. I like how there is more of 'Duck' and 'Pimples' and the humour still makes me giggle.
What I like about the series is that it doesn't take itself too seriously and is not trying to be the next Game Thrones. Nice, easy to listen to stories.

a sad and exciting story
full of character building tension siblings. I really enjoyed this story and look foreward to my next long journey for the next installment. I like the small taster we are given at the end of this book.

Fantastic steam punk dreams
Dragons and more dragons. Fighting dragons, swords and magic. Does just what it says on the tin. Another great performance and story. Superb cliffhanger at the end. The next in the series is already downloading😁♥️

Diction
Great story but her diction is really annoying. How to can take such pains to pronounce the T at the end of words but drop it in the middle is beyond me.
