Summary
The first book by Eddie Hearn, an inspirational and motivational guide to success.
What does it take to succeed? What is the mindset required to be the best? How do you stay at the top of your field? How do you come back from failure?
Eddie Hearn knows what it takes. In his remarkable career, Hearn has worked alongside some of the biggest names in sports entertainment and has seen first-hand the grit and relentless determination that it takes to succeed.
Structured around the key skills that Eddie Hearn values the most, this book looks at his business, life and the drive to succeed. Covering subjects such as discipline, passion, preparation, motivation and failure, this book shows you what it takes to get the most in your life and career.
Eddie talks about the highs and lows of his career - from negotiating a billion-dollar boxing deal to selling out Wembley for the Joshua Klitschko fight - and draws the valuable lessons that we can learn from the boxing's toughest performers.

Where do I start??
This is terrible.
'Graft hard' 'get the job done'
But when you're backed by a multi millionaire dad, you can take risks and learn from many mistakes without the stress of working hand to mouth.
This book is more about "listen to what I've done, ain't I good"
Just my opinion

Started well but wow what a narcissistic prat this man is...after the 3rd chapter put it down...this man is only out for one thing and it’s money out of your pocket. Thinks he changed boxing and the fans follow him , no they don’t , they follow fighters no one cares about the promoter....

Eddie delivers great content, as he always does.
I should start by saying that I am an avid boxing fan and that is how I know of Eddie Hearn. The biggest compliment I can pay Eddie for this book though is that it appeals to a much broader audience than the boxing fans. Yes, the anecdotes and personal insight into the mindset of AJ, Katie Taylor and other famous boxers is great, but the real benefit here is for anyone with an interest in bettering themselves or their company. The book was extremely well written and gave an insight into the man that has revolutionised British boxing before moving onto the World scene. He gives sound advice on selling, promoting, adapting to adversity and many more applicable life lessons. Well done Eddie, I hope it is the first book of many.
