Yet more important still is the well-being of the twin infants, Leia and Luke Skywalker, the children of Anakin and his doomed bride, Padme Amidala. Summary
Chief of State Natasi Daala has been overthrown, and the Jedi Order has taken control of the Galactic Alliance. But while the new governors dismantle Daala’s draconian regime, forces still loyal to the deposed official are mobilizing a counterstrike. And even the Jedi’s new authority may not be enough to save Tahiri Veila, the former Jedi Knight and onetime Sith apprentice convicted of treason for the killing of Galactic Alliance officer Gilad Pellaeon.
Meanwhile, Luke and Ben Skywalker are relentlessly pursuing Abeloth, the powerful dark-side entity bent on ruling the galaxy. But as they corner their monstrous quarry on the planet Nam Chorios, the two lone Jedi must also face the fury of the Sith death squadron bearing down on them. And when Abeloth turns the tables with an insidious ambush, the Skywalkers’ quest threatens to become a suicide mission.

You know who you are...
So I’ve read and listened to a large swath of the Star Wars cannon, 60 odd books. I love every title. So my thoughts and opinions are jaded by my feelings for this universe. But if you’re into Luke Skywalker and Jedi you can’t go wrong with the Fate series.

Full series review. So SPOILERS
I know I’m jaded but....
The Fate of the Jedi series delivers on everything you’d expect from a great story. Luke Skywalker along with his son Ben, set out to solve a simple mystery. Why did Jacen fall? And then....so much greatness happens. EU threads I’d forgotten about (Calista for one) are resolved in a fluid and natural way. Every single character has a unique personality (flaws and all). My favourite character Saba Sebatyne gets to shine in this series. Although she’s not the only one. Almost every EU character gets a role. (The ones they miss have Mercy Kill). And then there is Aboloth. The freaking scariest Star Wars villain ever. And every time I read the chapter in Apocalypse that explains her relationship to the Father Son and Daughter (from the Clone Wars Mortis trilogy) gives me chills every damn time. And Rynar Thul’s sacrifice. Damn. What a story.
PS Disney? I’d buy an unbridged version of EVERY Legends novel. That’s just $$$$$$$$ for you. You have the rights. Why not?

Great Story, Good Narration
Good story but the direction on character voice is incorrect based on character history.
Kyp Durron, Tenal Ka, Kenth Hamner (not in this book) and a few others all sound like they are from the "civilized" core planets, in other words English. When maybe just Hamner should sound that way due to military exposure on the core worlds.
The narrator was still great, I just don't think they know the history of the character. I just feel it was poor research on the director's part.
apart from that small issue I love this book, and the audio version is impressive!
