About this listen
Ten years ago, deep within a rift, a choice was granted.
Defeat the Demon King and end the apocalypse.
Or take his power for themselves and keep the rifts open.
Sloan chose an ending.
His party turned against him. They killed him.
They split his legacy and belongings amongst themselves.
They hid the truth. They profited.
Those heroes who betrayed the world.
Now he’s back.
Reborn. Reincarnated in a world where the system is life.
Reborn in a world of rift breaks and monsters spawning while so called heroes control sectors like overlords.
Rank by rank he’ll climb….
To take back what was stolen from him.
His life.
So, you want to know more? This is the story of a man out of time, appearing ten years after his death within a rift. Armed with a cheat skill, he’ll grow stronger and stronger as a Spellblade and summoner. Mixing post-apocalypse with magical realism and LitRPG flair, System Reborn is an easy LitRPG Adventure to pick up while waiting for the next big release

great start
the story is off to a great start. I really like the who premise, and while I don't generally prefer male narration, it was pretty awesome. Can't wait for more.

Fast Level-ups
SPOILERS!!! kinda
The system is heavily inspired by Solo Leveling, except in this version every hunter is connected to it. The gates are now rifts, and the world inside can vary greatly. The rifts aren't just caves which makes them better imo because it allows for more diversified environments. The only places being like that in Solo Leveling were red gates. Sloan's powers are also pretty similar to Sung's. The story around it though and the characters and world of System Reborn is pretty different though, mainly because of what happened 10 years prior after the death of the Demon King. Greed is a powerful motivator. Can't wait to hear what happens in the next two books.

Rebirth but in the future?
Written very well with enough detail to let me sink into the story without gets confused or distracted.
A story about revenge and to achieve that the MC must regrow he's previous strength and go beyond it, and it won't be as hard as he thought because....

This is how to power level bit***s
System Reborn Vol 1&2 by #KazHunter. A thoroughly enjoyable read. The MC's descent from a top rank 📈 to his reincarnation as level one made me feel for the poor bloke 📉 until I realised that he had 20% of his previous stat points that he could allocate to any skill he chose.
After that, I felt that the arseholes that killed him would reap their comeuppance. The MC is an OP powerhouse so there was always going to blood, guts and fighting. There is a fuck tonne of action in this book, something that is central to the novel. I liked that a lot.
These relatively short #litRPG volumes when combined were accessible and easy to read. The only thing I disliked about this book was the thought of having to wait for more works to be released to make it better value for money as I'm not wasting a credit on a 5 hour audiobook.
All in all I would say readers who enjoy #litRPG with an OP MC will enjoy this book a lot. Thank you to @GuardPublishing for producing an awesome piece of work. 📚 4/5⭐️ #BookReview

Great start to a new LITRPG Second Chance series
Really enjoyed this bundle of Vol 1 & 2 or System Reborn and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys LITRPG, or second chance stories.
Many books have the MC being transported into the past when things go wrong but in the series after the MC is betrayed by his party who, have defeating the Demon Lord have the choice to either:
1) End the System and the apocalypse
2) Keep the system and continue to grow
While the MC believes the entire are united in ending the system and apocalypse, his part have other ideas as they now stand at the apex of the world and give in to their greed, killing the MC and covering up his murder.
Though, obviously the MC's story doesn't end there and he is transported 10 years into the future where is given the chance to regain and surpass his former power and claim revenge on his old comrades.
Adam Stubbs does a wonderful job as always after listening to him perform CivMERC and is someone who I could listen to dozens of series as he is that good of a narrator.
My only problem now is that I have to decide whether to read volume 3 or wait for the audiobook

Excellent regressor book! Kept me entertainined.
Narrator was quite good and especially good fit for the main protagonist.
I loved the progression of the MC, pacing was quite good and we got just about enough fighting and story.
All characters are very likable and I quite like the detective dude who is stuck dealing with our unorthodox hero!
Overall a really good quick listen that brings much more value and joy than it's 10 hours would suggest!

A do-over with a difference.
The scene is quickly set and then you are brought along with the main MC as he gets sent a little way in to the future, knowing his team did the dirty on him. This story is about him relearning and developing to eventually confront those who betrayed him (to be seen in the series)
I enjoyed the summoner class and it came across well both as a story and via the narration, which was clear and way to understand/listen to, a very enjoyable read.
