About this listen

The delightful New York Times best-selling mystery series continues with "another winner" (Austin American-Statesman)!

In this latest installment, prize-winning reporter Jim Qwilleran—along with his lovable Siamese cats, Koko and Yum Yum—solves a mystery that arises when a local banker dies under suspicious circumstances, leaving behind a flashy young widow, an unfinished house-restoration project, and a trail of clues as elusive as a cat burglar in the night....

Cat Who... does it again

Another intriguing story about the people and countryside of Moose County. The leading stars are Quilleran and his two Siamese cats. Really enjoyed listening to this book beautifully read by George Guidall.
Can’t wait to get another one.

Another enjoyable tale

Another enjoyable tale about the folk of Pickaxe, laced with gentle irony, and brilliantly narrated bt George Guidall.

Audio clarity is not up to perfect standard...

Once again, another good book of The Cat Who... Series. I'm not going to go into detail about the actual story, but more of the Audible version that I listened to. The Narrator George Guidall is excellent, but at the same time there is a discrepancy that occurs every now and then. For about 20% of the reading, the clarity of voice disappears to sounding as if it's being recorded in a large room, with a bad mic. It is jarring, but thankfully is rare. Yet, at the same time, it ruins the enjoyment of listening to the book.

Otherwise, would still recommend.
