Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

What is great culture made of? How do you get more of it or turn around a group that needs improving? In The Culture Playbook, Daniel Coyle delivers a simple, clear, field-tested guide for building a strong, cohesive, high-performing group.

Coyle, author of the New York Times best-selling The Culture Code, has spent the last six years studying and consulting with some of the most successful groups on the planet—including IDEO, Pixar, the San Antonio Spurs, Navy SEALS Team six and others. Here, he distils his findings into 60 concise, actionable, scientifically proven tips for building safety, generating trust and establishing purpose—plus a set of conversation-igniting exercises to help you assess and improve your current culture. The result is a book that will sharpen the skills of any leader and strengthen the cohesion of any team—because it demonstrates that great culture is not controlled by fate or luck; it's controlled by you.

Clear and actionable from the get go

This is an excellent account of how to work with organisations and teams in improving culture through clear actionable steps. Daniel brings his personality to the narrative, truly bringing the words to life, as if you were in a workshop with him. Thank you Daniel. Will be using many of your tips with teams I work with.

Good content but not suited particularly well to an audiobook

Audiobook at least needs uploaded resources to make this deeply practical book work over an audiobook
