Summary

The greatest philosopher of all time is offering to sell his soul to the devil. All he wants is 20 more years to complete his life's work. After that he really doesn't care. But the assistant demon assigned to the case has his suspicions, because the philosopher is Saloninus, the greatest philosopher, yes, but also the greatest liar, trickster, and cheat the world has yet known - the sort of man even the Father of Lies can't trust. He's almost certainly up to something...but what?

Enjoyable, if a bit confusing

While the narrator isn't at his best, it's mostly the story itself that constantly changes perspective and makes it hard to follow. On paper, it might have been easy if the change of perspective from the devil to the philosopher changes with a different font, but on audio the narrator should be able to switch voices on the fly to keep things smoother. Regardless, I found it amusing, so be warned, don't let your mind wander while listening, and if you do, be prepared to rewind multiple times to catch up on when each character narrates. If it were a longer story it would be tiring, but the short length makes it tolerable.

An entertaining story which unlike any other story I have heard.

It was often hard to keep track of the character who was speaking or thinking because it was mostly read in the same style. Even so, I still found the voice drew me in to the story.
