Gurl You better werk
Glad I read the review to slow the speech down, This NY gurl talks fast. Great fun to listen to. Needs updating as no inclusion of her time on Strictly, Which is EVERYTHING. I LIVE for this bitch, I absolutely love her If you are a person, especially a woman or gay, Michelle Visage has got your back and will help Great, interesting (now I know why Michelle Visage was not on he first 2 season of drag race). Loved listening to this

Inspirational, hilarious and honest
I loved Michelle Visage on Drag Race so I was excited to hear what she had to say but I still wasn’t prepared for how much I enjoyed this book. It’s gritty and no nonsense straight from the jump but light and delicate where it matters too.
Some of the tips are definitely more workable for ‘everyday’ non-celeb people than others but all are really valid and relatable. This listen has inspired and motivated me and I’m excited to see where Michelle’s tips and advice take me.

Loved it. At 0.9 speed...
Michelle Visage tells her own story with laugh-out-loud anecdotes AND tender, vulnerable remembering. Each chapter is structured with a life-lesson. Clever.
My only note: Michelle, take a breath! What you have to say is worth hearing, so give the words room with a bit of space.
My solution: I slowed down the play speed just a touch.
Funny. Inspired. Inspiring. Come through! Did I say that right?

Basic bitch brilliance
True, heartfelt, warm and sassy. Very basic in it's concepts, sometimes that's all you need from a self-help book. No for everyone. Easy flowing and fast passed.

Instant Pick-Me-Up
I love this book and come back to it whenever I need a boost.
Short, sharp, witty and packed with useful advice to be your best self.
The fact that it's read by Michelle Visage only gives the words and ideas more impact.

Listened to it in one day.
I was home sick one day and very bored and unmotivated. I decided to get this book and got through it in one day!
The stories are captivating and immersive and the the book as a whole is, if nothing else an insite as to how every should live their life without being too spiritual or in your face.
It's all entertaining stories, both happy and sad and each story has meaning and lessons behind them.
Would recommend And Michelle has a new fan in me.

LOVED THIS BOOK.....
Would you listen to The Diva Rules again? Why?
Oh god yes I would listen to this again, and again...Flicking through Netflix desperately trying to find something to watch and landing on RuPauls drag race, becoming a fan and then an addict. I saw Michelle Visage and thought to myself that woman scares the bejesus out of me. After listening to her book, if I met her in real life, I would just want to give her a "Hey guuurrrl" and hug her.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Her openness and her vulnerability, especially when discussing her anxiety moments.
Any additional comments?
Any additional comments.......errrrrmmm....thank you for introducing me to Drag, I'm a married hetro 48 year old woman from the UK, a Secretary. And now a Diva Secretary...p.s just bought a ticket to see Bianca Del Rio on my own....cannot wait. Buy the book you will love it... xxx Love from Linda R. :)
