From the Number One bestselling author Emma Hannigan comes The Gift of Friends, a magical story of love, friendship and hope.

Kingfisher Road - a leafy, peaceful street in the town of Vayhill. But there are whispers behind closed doors. Who is moving into Number 10?

Engaged to handsome, wealthy Justin Johnston, Danielle appears to her new neighbours to have the perfect, glossy life. But not everything is as it seems...

In fact, each of the other four women who live close by has a secret, and each is nursing their own private heartache.

But could a gift be waiting on their doorsteps? And, by opening their front doors, and their hearts, to each other, could the women of Kingfishers Road discover all the help they need?

Absolutely Brilliant

You just couldn’t help feeling like you knew each of the friends individually. It was happy, sad, thoughtful & funny. What to hear what happens next! Love it from start to finish.

Enjoyable read, but not to listen to.

Good story, well told. Did not think the performance did the story justice. Overall I enjoyed it.

What a beautiful story. Captures real Irish attributes excellently. I loved the narrator. Didnt want the story to end.

Lovely Book,

A lovely light book to listen to while out walking. I really enjoyed the characters, predictable but enjoyable in a feel good way. The narration was excellent and the narrator really brought personality to the characters.

no one stands up for themselves.

Introducing a rude character could have been quirky and challenging but people just accepting the unbelievable rudeness was baffling and unrealistic, absolutely nobody confronted their vileness. They all seamed to have no backbone, no confidence to speak out and thought it was ok to be treated so appallingly. Who would want to read a book filled with these types of characters? Not me thats for sure.

Cliche ridden

This harmless story is peopled with stereotypes and caricatures. Not representatives of modern day Ireland.
