Summary

How much would you pay to kill a serial rapist? Or a child molester?

If the price is right, the Tavenner Group will arrange and guide your...hunt of a lifetime.

Note: The Immersion does not end with any "cliff hangers", and there are no "downers" involved in the plot. While sequels are already in the works, this first in the series closes nicely.

an OK story

this book was ok but it lost me after a few chapters a bit too much going on descriptively.
narrator was ok.

Thriller

I enjoyed listening to Katelyn Michals narration, I thought perfect for this great thriller. Brought the characters to life, a great job doing the accents.

Great story and action from the very beginning. A true thriller , I wanted to listening , I wonder if I would pay for
vigilante justice .
This is a very entertaining, emotional rollercoaster and brilliant thought out characters.

Enjoyable

I requested & received a free copy of this audiobook either from the author/narrator or a promotion or giveaway and am voluntarily writing an honest and unbiased review.

This was a great premise and a good story all round. The characters were well rounded and likeable and the interaction between them worked well. The relationship between the sisters was particularly well written. The story has a good pace and mostly kept me interested and eager to know what was going to happen next with a nicely balanced mix of action and personal interaction.

The narrator was very pleasant to listen to and did an excellent job throughout.

The bits I wasn’t so keen on: First, like several other authors, there was a lot of detail about the weaponry used which doesn’t really hold my attention. I’d rather have more descriptive action than long winded reports about what kind of gun, what calibre ammo etc was used.

Second, and for me the low point, was the unnecessary constant detail about what everyone was wearing down to brands and colour of socks in some cases. Is this a thriller or a fashion show? Towards the end I actually groaned aloud “oh no more” when everyone’s attire was described in minute detail.

Otherwise, it was an enjoyable book and I might read the next in the series to see what happens.
