*Not a bedtime story*

This instalment sees DCI Hanlon undercover trying to find the identity of someone who is murdering young women at a university. One man is being set up and a lazy police officer would not dig into the case like Hanlon. She seems to have a sense for danger and continues to thrive on it. Even when the odds are against her she even relishes being hit. But as she gets closer to finding the answers she herself gets into grave danger, when faced with danger she will not go down quietly….

Another excellent DCI Hanlon book

The characters are brought to life by excellent writer and narrator. Enjoyed this one as much as the first.

A definite improvement on the first.

As already mentioned definitley better than the first but still some plot issues that done really make too much sense. Won't go into too much detail so as not to spoil, the ending seemed a bit unnecessary but otherwise still worth a read.

Really enjoyable read

The fifth book I have read in this series (out of sequence till I found the reading order!) Love the main character and have been thoroughly entertained by the plot dialogue and all the characters. On to the next one!

Great story too much violence

Great story but too much detail of the violence. You can't skip on audio.

Riveting

Very enjoyable if not a bit gory in parts. But entertaining and an excellent narration.

DCI Hanlon

I’m finding the Halon books quite addictive always interesting story line. Can’t say I’m a fan of some of the narrators. But plots are good overstretched maybe but still very good
