Thorough, but hard to finish

It gave me some new ideas, but I struggled to finish it. Maybe because I found the pace a bit slow and the voice a bit grating.

Great book about all things leadership and management

This book was a great insight into management and leadership across all levels. It was a great refresher on some of the things I know and an eye opener for the next journey in my career.

a great overview of technical leadership

the book went into a wider range of areas of technical leadership at all levels in enough depth to be useful, but not too much depth to become dry and dull!
I'd recommend it to people entering technical leadership roles as well as people already established in leadership.

Super useful advice

Useful advice for someone beginning their management journey. Has some overlapping concepts with other management books so can be a bit repetitive but still helpful nonetheless.

A broad spectrum of scope

The book is a fab overview of all levels and scopes of management. From mentoring interns up to CTO.

I’ve taken away handfuls of tips that’ll I’ll be putting into practice.

Very good, straightforward and clear

Seemed a bit slow to get going but very good once I got in the rhythm of it. I am a mechanical engineer and would recommend as a straightforward guide and general advice on mangement to my peers. The book avoids the wooliness, theorising and padding out of a few ideas ommon in books of this type.
