Summary
When Lewis Harley has a health scare in his early 40s, he takes it as a wake-up call. So he and his wife, Charlotte, leave behind life in the fast lane, and Lewis opens the antiques shop he has dreamed of. Bonnie Brookland was brought up in the antiques trade and now works for the man who bought out her father's business, but she isn't happy there. So when she walks into Lew's shop, she knows this is the place for her.
As Bonnie and Lew start to work together, they soon realize that there is more to their relationship than either thought. But Bonnie is trapped in an unhappy marriage, and Lew and Charlotte have more problems than they care to admit. Both have secrets in their pasts that are about to be uncovered. Can they find the happiness they both deserve?

Another cracker from Milly
Bonnie's life is controlled by her husband and the only Ray of light is her love of antiques and the community who share her passion. Trapped, she spends her days wishing her life away. What will it take for Bonnie's to find the happiness she deserves. A great story read by an excellent narrator. Kept me gripped thtoughout

Beautiful
Just beautiful. Loved the story. Superbly written and narrated. I shall have to find more Milly Johnson books. Couldn’t get enough of this one.

Loved it
Had Alexa read this to me, was gripped, and laughed & cried with bonnie & lew bless them, and it's such a shame there are people out there just like it. loved bonnie, great listen, and had it playing in every room & at bedtime, good job you can set timers & go back, this was a very good enjoyable read for a romance, just lovely.

If I could give 6 stars, I would!
I always feel sad when I finish a Milly Johnson book! This lady is seriously talented, an amazing storyteller, has fantastic storylines that makes you laugh, cry and capture your heart. Whenever I listen to one of her audiobooks or read one of her books, I’m a bit crabby when I have to do other things, for I miss reading/listening to her story. Milly Johnson is the best in her category, utterly captivating!! Love, love, LOVE Milly Johnson!

Perhaps a Princess?
I enjoyed so much of this story apart from the rather rushed ending. I would have liked to have heard more about Lou and Bonnies romance and less of the silly but where her friends scared her ex!

I did enjoy the story, not my usual 'go to tale but enjoyable none the less even if toward the end it drifted off into mills and boon territory. Well read

A warm story that jas depth and passion
I listened to this constantly!!!! around the house, in the car. i couldn't put it down. The charcters are so relatable and real that it feela as though it could all be happening just next door to you. it has some real twists and turns as well. depth and grittu story telling under a lovely first appearance. LOved it. sad to have finished it.
