The Solace of Sin.

As always, I’ve really enjoyed listening to another, Catherine Cookson audio book.
And as soon as one is finished I immediately look for another one.
My eyesight isn’t good enough to read one of Catherine Cookson‘s many books, so it has been wonderful to start listening to the audiobooks .
My thanks, go to everyone involved in making audiobooks.

Great story, characters and ending

Well I really liked this one. Didn't think I would as it's set quite late for a Catherine Cookson, and it started off a little boringly, but then in my opinion it really took off. Good characters, good plot, good ending.

The Solace of Sin

Very enjoyable book. Narration a bit high pitched and shouty and at first with some of the character and didn't understand what they were saying but you get used to it after a while.

Classic cookson

Have read and reread these books and listening to the fab susan jameson narrating this story was a treat . Ms cookson knows how to do a real baddie and they often get their comeuppance but the goodies are not sugary sweet just like life . Will be listening to more .
