An emotional and relevant journey
This book involves you in an experience that many people will have faced. The age difference issue will regularly arise in the relationships of people. It was well addressed in this book, as was the suspicion that will sometimes be in the background in these relationships. The emotions of both women were approached sensitively and realistically. One downside, however, was the immediate worship felt by one of the women, which took away some of the potential slow burn and intrigue. Altogether though, a really good book!

Not bad
The story was okay, but it took a long time for them to get to the ending we knew was coming by the time I was halfway through the book. The narrator was a better British narrator than we usually get, at least there was no forced refined pronunciation, but it still felt vaguely pedestrian. It just didn’t grab my attention for very long if I’m honest.

Another epic romance by Melissa
Exactly what I come to expect from Melissa Tereze. Lovable characters, angst, and stream, steam, steam! Did I mention steam. Tereze only improves with every book!

drags on a bit
I know the ebook is available on Kindle Unlimited where writers are paid by the number of pages, but this novel could have been half the length. it drags on and on and on and on towards the end. It is nice to see a British based novel being narrated by a British narrator.
