Summary

Winter has come to the world, and still, Erin Solstice has no idea how she came to be an [Innkeeper].

Erin is running an inn outside the city of Liscor, but she’s no longer alone. Ryoka Griffin, the City Runner, has business in the south of Izril; she’s out on a dangerous delivery of her own. Yet while both young women have finally found their calling, more and more people are beginning to realize that these visitors from Earth don’t belong here.
Erin must find new guests and old for her inn while expanding her tentative business. Staying safe would also be nice. At the same time, some pesky creatures have arrived to herald winter, and they bring mischief and danger unlike anything she’s ever seen. But as more and more children of Earth begin appearing, the cold of winter is the least of Erin’s worries.

even better than part 1

I really enjoyed the first one and this installment gas not disappointed. Andrea is an excellent narrator who sucks you in to the story. I believe she's the Lady counterpart to R C Bray, she's that good!

You really need to start with the first part or you're going to be lost with this one.

The story picks up literally the next morning after the boss fight with the flesh worm, few authors do this and I think Pirate has done it because the story is actually serialised in a blog so it's potentially not going to end any time soon and I'm in no hurry for that.

The two books together add up to over 100 hours of listening which is outstanding value for a mere 2 credits.

Fabulous

You know you're enjoying a book when you look up at one point and are disappointed there are 'only' 15 hours left...
Enthralling and beautifully narrated.

I love this story!

The characters are believable and you never know what will happen next! The world moulding is the best I've read in any book in my life. I really look forward to continuing to listen to this series and I am glad to know that there are 7 books already written!

This is one of the most well written books!

This book better than the amazing first installment. All characters show significant development as we explore their stories and encounters.

This book gives us a greater insight into the world and the different classes. It delves into different characters and introduces us to even more dynamic and interesting characters.

The book provides us with a variety of emotions, the humour is top par, and the sad movements are sad :(.

I absolutely love this book and suggest it to anyone and everyone. I belive this is a book for all.

On a side note - the side stories are hugely entertaining. They also cover vital queries many have questioned in the past.

5*. Also the narrator did a stellar job, she has brought the whole world alive!

What a wonderful world

The 60+ hours of this book has flown by and I fond myself a little sad that I now have to wait an unknown amount of time before I get to travel back to this world and meet all of the wonderful characters again.

my only, very small criticism is that too many people 'blinked'.. 'this person blinked in surprise', 'Erin blinked', 'he didn't have eyelids, but if he did he would have blinked!" it became a little distracting but I'm really just nit picking.

Andrea Parsneau is one of my new favourite readers, up there with R.C Bray.

Fingers crossed that we don't have to wait too long for the next installment...

Truly a work of art!! Just Amazing 5🌟!!

This is great to see a continuation that improves so much on the original! Pirate Aba is an outstanding writer but the patern ship Andrea Parsneau was the best choice. The characters continue to grow and the story grows bigger and better truly looking to see what happens.

Fantastic!

The story is fantastic. Just listened to both volumes back to back over the last week. Couldn't stop and found myself going 'just another chapter' very often. The Narrator is amazing her voices are probably the best I've heard in any Audiobook, regardless of the gender or species of the character. Was honestly disappointed when I noticed that there were only 5hrs left.
