Game changer - Outstanding!
I hope this author realises the potential he has to change so many young lives! I've never read a book that is so relatable to the modern Scot's generations - the East coast included! I have nothing but respect & admiration for this author. I wish him all the best & would seriously recommend this book. I wish I could hand out copies down the shopping centre in the hope it would make a difference. However, my guess is that this book needs to be adapted to film to make a real difference!

Can’t rate this book highly enough
This book is outstanding. The vivid portrayal of a young male growing up in working class West of Scotland is just magnificent, and something I could completely relate to. The book has depth and the way the characters are developed is superb. Graeme Armstrong’s narration brings the characters to life. He’s excellent. The local dialect and prolific swearing may not be to everyone’s liking, but it’s necessary to depict exactly how life is on the streets. Fantastic book. I can’t wait for Graeme Armstrong’s next offering!

Yolt el san
Loved it, even better listening to the audiobook and hearing the Airdrie accent and terminology like doft and yolt. You can tell he's lived the life and hearing the references to early 2000s West of Scotland young team culture brings back the memories

The tale of every young man who grew up in west of Scotland 1990s- 2000s
Absolutely moving story not unlike any other tale from the young teams of Scotland
Put descriptively into a tale that will make anyone who’s lived this go through the motions again
