Biz knows how to float. She has her people, her posse, her mom, and the twins. She has Grace. And she has her dad, who tells her about the little kid she was, and who shouldn't be here but is. So Biz doesn't tell anyone anything. Not about her dark, runaway thoughts, not about kissing Grace or noticing Jasper, the new boy. And she doesn't tell anyone about her dad. Because her dad died when she was seven. And Biz knows how to float, right there on the surface - normal, okay, regular, fine.

In case you're wondering, this is not a love story. My name is Tori Spring. I like to sleep and I like to blog. Last year - before all that stuff with Charlie and before I had to face the harsh realities of A-Levels and university applications and the fact that one day I really will have to start talking to people - I had friends. Things were very different, I guess, but that's all over now. Now there's Solitaire. And Michael Holden. I don't know what Solitaire are trying to do, and I don't care about Michael Holden. I really don't.

Summary
A love story with a difference—an unforgettable tale of life, loss and making each day count in the international number one best-selling book of TikTok fame, clocking up 80 million views and counting.
On 5th September, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: they're going to die today. Mateo and Rufus are total strangers, but, for different reasons, they're both looking to make a new friend on their End Day. The good news: there's an app for that. It's called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.
Another beautiful, heart-breaking and life-affirming book from the brilliant Adam Silvera, author of More Happy than Not, History Is All You Left Me, What If It's Us, Here's to Us and the Infinity Cycle series.

Beautiful
This is one of the most beautiful and authentic stories I have listened to in a long time. Maybe it hits different as the voice actors bring the characters to life so well that you cannot help but fall for them, maybe as a gay man reading a narrative about gay romance that didn’t feel forced or cliche or maybe its the brilliant premise that makes it great, who can say but do yourself a favour and listen right now cos you don’t know when you might be getting the call,

Beautiful & Heartbreaking
After seeing some of the negative reviews I was sceptical but after the fittest few minutes I was hooked and couldn’t stop. I felt like I was on the emotional rollercoaster with the character and yes I sobbed. Although it’s one of the most heartbreaking books I’ve read the beauty in the storytelling makes it all worth while. A must listen/read.

Surprisingly good listen
the story starts a little slow as you begin to get your head around each character but a once you understand the general idea of "the End" it becomes a sweet tale of two people brought together by chance. You get to also hear of others who are in a similar position and even though they are not the main focus you grow fond of them, if even for a brief moment. Fully enjoyed it up until the end and although left with wanting to know exactly what happens next, the author left a good cliffhanger that is up to interpretation of how it could have ended for our protagonist. A 100% must listen for sure

I mean, I don’t regret listening to it, it’s an easy listen and I enjoyed it. I found it a bit slow at times and the premise of the book was incredible but it just didn’t his the spot. I just think it could have been mind blowing, so found it underwhelming!

This book was incredible to listen to. Easy to follow along and had many lessons.
The narration and storyline were both incredible. The novel made me think about the world in ways I haven’t before and made me realize that we need to live every day as if it’s our last.
