About this listen

Discover simple strategies and realistic advice on how to not just get by with chronic fatigue syndrome, but go on to live a life of thriving health after recovering!

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to enjoy a night out with friends again, without having to worry about "overdoing it"?

Do you find yourself making progress, feeling better, only to hit these ceilings in recovery that you just can't seem to break through?

Do you have a clear understanding of what you need to do in order to recover from CFS? Or are you free-styling recovery?

Recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome doesn't have to be so complicated.

Start making progress and gaining traction with these simple strategies. You'll be able to finally pick up momentum in your journey and start feeling the symptoms slowly go away, the energy come back, and get off the emotional roller coaster that this illness brings.

With this guide, you'll discover:

  • Why you're feeling the way you're feeling: Without understanding the mechanism behind where all your symptoms are coming from, there will always be an underlying fear. Mystery means not knowing, and not knowing leads to anxiety. In order to properly fix a problem, we need to first know what we're trying to fix.
  • How this all happened, and how to avoid it in the future: You'll understand that you most likely didn't just get "unlucky" and had this illness come at random. When you know what leads to CFS, you won't have to worry about "crashes" and "major relapses" in the near future because you will know exactly what to do and be equipped with the tools to recover.
  • The top three things to focus on during recovery: The mind-shift, properly dealing with symptoms, and building threshold are the keys to solving this once and for all. If you focus and execute on all three of these areas, it's almost impossible to not see any progress.
  • The most common mistakes to avoid: Awareness of what to do is important, but perhaps even more important is what not to do. Chances are you're making a lot of mistakes right now that can be easily fixed with small adjustments.
  • Three simple hacks to help your body feel more relaxed: I share some of the tools and strategies I used to help stimulate my parasympathetic system and transition out of sympathetic overdrive.

Avoid any progress plateaus physically, mentally, and emotionally with this book that will guide you through the journey of recovering from chronic fatigue syndrome so that you can get back to living life with thriving health!

As someone else said its basically a sales pitch

I was quite enthusiastic to read this because I've looked at Miguels free content and its really compelling and really resonates with me. And if you're coming across his stuff for the first time actually this book is quite uplifting and encouraging.
However there isn't a lot of content in the book and its basically just a sales pitch for his program. Admitedly made worse for me by the fact I'd only just listened to his sales pitch on his website and was having to listen to it all again.
The thing i struggle with is the cost of his actual program. If you can't afford to spend the ridiculous amount that he seems to charge, you get told your 'not a good fit' which i find quite insulting and a bit gaslighting when I know I'm a perfectly good fit but just can't afford - and shouldnt have to afford that kind of money to get better.
So many people are sick and out of work for years and its unreasonable and unethical to expect people to pay that kind of money to be able to get better.
I think he should really rethink how much he's charging so that it allows more people to benefit who desperately need it.
He does seem quite genuine in wanting to help people though and his ideas do seem really good and different from what I've seen elsewhere so I'm looking forward to learning more from his free stuff.
Unfortunately the price level he sets makes him start to seem less genuine, so if he is, then I really hope he rethinks what he's charging so that he can make a difference in more poeples lives. surely that's what's most important.

offers hope and good suggestions

being a severe ME sufferer I found it difficult to concentrate but loved that with audiobook you can just replay the book as a whole or just few chapters.

Bautista spoke from the heart. Sufferers can relate to what he says (which non sufferers won't even be aware of). it's nice to hear a way in which this guy recovered. it offers hope against the medical profession "it's lifelong and incurable". Everyone will have slightly different feelings and recovery but anything that helps get some sort of life back is great. Bautista is fabulous in the way he knows when to try and advice on when not to.

At last, real hope for the chronically sick.

I've read many books about CFS but few have really given me the insight I've needed to get me out of my bed and back on my feet. Miguel gives clear guidance in an uncomplicated, straight forward way and in a short read/listen which is perfect for the typical sufferer. Highly recommend.

Finally someone who talks sense about CFS!

My teenage son had CFS some years ago and it took years to get a diagnosis and years for him to drag himself to recovery. How I wish I had found Miguel back then! My daughter is now going through the same and I know already that this approach is the way forward. The medical community so often does not understand CFS and can make it confusing and scary. Miguel breaks things down to help people understand exactly what is going on in their bodies and to know that recovery is possible. If you are stuck in a CFS hole, then read or listen to this book - get to work on your recovery - and then share with others…. Thank you Miguel

Changed my outlook

I’ll return and leave a longer review once I’ve fully finished this book - but it’s already changing my outlook and I’m only half way through it. I have CFS and POTS, and it stalled my life - but from the first sentence Miguel has started to change how I think about my symptoms, and I now believe I will fully recover.
