As a coach this is transformative!
Thank you so much Nancy for this spectacular challenge to modern coaching techniques. I’ll try to infantilise people less under the guises of helping, trust the thinker and keep myself as a quality attention listening with all my cells pointed at them.

Excellent book, editing and chapter voice poor
The book and author narration is superb. Their is so much packed into this book that can benefit anyone. Manager, family, teacher....
The main narration is excellent and the author speaks in a calm composed manner allowing you to soak up the main theme ‘listen’.
Unfortunately after 50% through the editing is poor with repeated sentences etc. The voice that introduces the chapters is awful, extremely old fashioned and irritated through. I almost returned it 1/2 way but the content prevented me from doing so.
Please re edit and please remove the chapter narrator.

an insightful and empowering listen
calmly narrated and honest to the core in both prose and content, there are lots of cases, stories and examples that bring space, time to think and incisive questioning into both personal and professional practice. as a coach, I enjoy listening to this time and again - a firm favourite and good to revisit periodically

A book that soothes the mind and soul.
If there's a more soothing and reassuring voice than Nancy Kline's for an audiobook, I've yet to hear it. Even listening at double speed it still soothed me in ways I didn't expect and not just her voice, the words, her message and mission spoke straight to the heart of everything I care about
I hope everyone will check this book out and create thinking environments in their lives. The stories of real world application were fantastic and Nancy's own journey to this practise is phenomenal.
My only negative is the audio editing. Many recording do-overs were left in and unfortunately were a little distracting. I'm not sure I noticed them in More Time to Think but I'm going to revisit that book soon. If Nancy wants proof listeners in the future, I'm here for it and would be more than happy to take out the recording mistakes for any future version.

Loved this book.
my goodness - so insightful
I only listen to books and went to buy the paperback half way through to mark sections.
Partway through the book, I started testing out of the techniques and it worked!!!!!!!!
It will change your conversations.
Can't rave enough about this book.
