Summary

In the mist-shrouded haze of the past, the world of Azeroth teemed with wondrous creatures of every kind. Mysterious elves and hardy dwarves walked among tribes of man in relative peace and harmony - until the arrival of the demonic army known as Burning Legion shattered the world's tranquility forever. Now orcs, dragons, goblins, and trolls all vie for supremacy over the scattered, warring kingdoms - part of a grand, malevolent scheme that will determine the fate of the world of WarCraft.

Masterpiece

I absolutely love this story. Narrated very well and easy to listen. In some parts I feel like I’m a prt of the guest of these Azeroth heroes.

A brilliantly narrated and classic Warcraft story.

First of all I feel the need to commend Ramon de Ocampo on his narration here, the voices he puts on and the pacing at which he narrates are nothing short of impeccable. The story itself is a good, classic tale from the Warcraft universe and while I would recommend any fans give it a read/listen I'd also caution that it is very, very heavy on character development and exploration. There's very few fights and large battles outside of the conflict in the final few chapters - and even that isn't really on the same scale as some of the other Warcraft books.

However, don't let that put you off! As a Warcraft fan I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and absolutely loved the narration. Just don't go in expecting it to be filled with non-stop action from cover to cover and you won't be disappointed.
