Story
They'll chase you. They'll rip you open. They'll feed on you.... When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician - every adult - fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused and hungry. Only children under 14 remain whole, and they're fighting to survive. Now there are rumours of a safe place to hide. And so a gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city - down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground - the grown-ups lie in wait. But can they make it there alive?

Story
Eight years ago, an infection hit London, before spreading outwards. Ninety percent of the population was either contained by the military, trampled during the riots, or infected by the disease. A disease that came to be known as The Rot. Colin Bolton survived the incident, but not without losing everything he held dear to him - his life, his love, and his humanity. Now, he's living at a farmhouse, acting as a bodyguard for a new surrogate family. Life is stable. He's making do. He’s surviving. That is...until a vagrant scavenger comes knocking at the door.

The name's Bond, James Bond
A fantastic first ever "mission" for the young James Bond.
Silverfin may be a book for "teens", but I think it's a must listen / read (I also own most of the books for this series) for any James Bond fan.

The Beginning...
If you could sum up Young Bond: Silverfin in three words, what would they be?
Licence to thrill
What other book might you compare Young Bond: Silverfin to, and why?
Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz, because Alex Rider could give James Bond a good run for his money
Have you listened to any of Nathaniel Parker’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Yes he is as good as ever and makes it come to life
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Licence to thrill
Any additional comments?
I don't like reading but I loved listening to this
