  • Shawn has been performing and recording since he was 15. 2024: LA GUNS will be continuing the Black Diamonds tour through 2024 with headlining shows as well as direct support for KK Downing's Priest first U.S. Tour and The Tom Keifer Band's Live/Loud 2024 tour. 2023: Shawn hit the road with L.A. GUNS for the "Black Diamonds" tour covering 19 states with 55 shows July thru September. Additional dates were added for December. Shawn performed in 2 videos,"Shattered Glass" and "Diamonds". with L.A. Guns for thier April 14th 2023 worlwide release "Black Diamonds" on Frontiers Records. L.A. Guns Performs on the 80"s Cruise March 2023. 2022: Shawn was asked to joinh platinum recording artists L.A.Guns. L.A. Guns toured the U.S. for 9 weeks with over 40 performances on the "Sonic Slam Tour" a package tour featuring Tom Keifer, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. In October 2022, L.A.GUNS performed on the "Deck Stage" on The KISS KRUISE 2022! L.A GUNS wrapped up the year headlininig The Whisky A Gogo to a sold out crowd. The show was simulcast on SiriusXM/Hair Nation world wide. 2021-2020 Shawn recorded a full length album "Love 2B Hated" for the band "Sociial Disorder" On AFM Records. The band features Shawn Duncan, Tracii Guns, Jeff Duncan, Rudy Sarzo, Anders LaRonnblom and many "guest" performers. Love 2B hated was released worldwide in June, 2021 to much critical acclaim and has prodced 5 videos and singles! Shawn hit the recording studio in September 2022 for Social Disorder's second album due for a 2023 release. 2018: Shawn performed on 4 worldwide releases with Odin, DC4 and Killer Bee. These will be on EMP Lable Group-Universal-SPV records (Odin), HighVol-Sony/red (DC4)and Mighty Music-Target DE (Killer Bee). Video's and tours followed through 2019. Between 2013 and 2016 Shawn performed on 3 national Tours and countless fly outs with 80's Rock Band "Bulletboys". Shawn also appeared in the video for BulletBoys 2015 Cleopatra Records single "Rollover" from the Album "Elephante". Shawn also appears with BulletBoys on the Benefit album "Rockers Against MS" which was recorded at Dave Grohls 606 studios. Shawn spent his formative years with the infamous and highly influential band ODIN Recording 5 albums, countless touring, a video and appeared as a featured artist in the metal classic motion picture "The Decline of Civilization2, The Metal Years". Shawn has recorded and released 4 cd's with the band DC4 featuring his brothers Jeff Duncan (Armored Saint,Odin), Matt Duncan and Rowan Robertson (Dio). Thier newest album "Atomic Highway" on ToneHouse Records was released in 2021. With over 17 albums, countless tours, videos and even a major motion picture on his resume it is fair to say he has established himself as a true professional. Shawn credits John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, Cozy Powell , Steve Smith, Danny Saraphine and Roger Taylor as his largest influences however he insists that drums are a never ending journey and is always floored by something he hasn't heard before. Shawn is a solid, powerful, energetic, groove oriented drummer with incredible feel and a strong understanding of song structure. Shawn uses Aquarian Drumheads, Sabian Cymbals, and Ultimate Ears monitors. "Have Drums, Will Travel".
