Liberation through Christ: A New Kind of Freedom. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ." Eph. 1:7—10 Blessings,

  • RADIATING THE GLORY OF GOD!
    Nov 21 2024

Think about it, Moses reflected the Glory of God, but you and I may radiate the Glory of God.

"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as a mirror the glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the LORD." 2 Cor. 3:18

    Glory!

  • We All Need The Same Grace!
    Nov 19 2024

We All Need The Same Grace! Our approach confirms or denies it for us: the Pharisee's pride, and the Tax Collector's humility. One's pride condemned him, and the other's humble faith saved him. Luke 18:13

Prayer is much more than the words of our lips; it is the desires of our hearts, and our hearts are constantly "desiring" before Him, even if we never speak a word.

    Blessings,

  • THROW OUT YOUR FEARS!
    Nov 14 2024

Embracing Love Over Fear! "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us." 1 Jn 4:18,19.

  • Freed From The Drama Of Emotions
    Nov 12 2024

EMOTIONS are a natural part of the human experience that can be positive or negative, mild or intense, and can help one understand how to react to what you're experiencing.

Emotions will do what we, in faith, order them to do. For example, when David prayed, he ordered his soul, the center of his emotions, to bless the LORD. He believed and by faith, took control of his feelings.

Remember, by faith, we can speak to those things that try to overwhelm us. The core words are, 'by faith'.

    Blessings,

    Presiding Elder Barbara Hayes

  • TO BE ACCOUNTED WORTHY
    Nov 7 2024

Keep awake then and watch at all times [be discreet, attentive, and ready], praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things [taken together] that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man. Luke 21:36 Blessings,

  • Got It All Figured Out
    Nov 5 2024

What is man that You are mindful of him? Or the son of man that You visited him. You have made him to be a little lower than the Angels, however, because they have figured out a few things.

Man has gotten to the point where the more they know, the less they worship the Creator of all things. Men believe they got it all figured out. They seem not to remember that God created all things in "the heaven and the earth."

The word "created" (Heb. bara') is used exclusively for an activity only God can do.

    Blessings,

  • EZEKIEL IS A WATCHMAN
    Nov 4 2024

Ezekiel realized the seriousness of his calling and how great the responsibility God had placed on his shoulders was. Ezekiel 3:16—21.

Ezekiel is the prophet of human responsibility. While some people blamed God for their sad plight, others blamed their ancestors, Ezekiel made it clear that each individual is held responsible and accountable before God (ch. 18).

Personal responsibility is the key here for the watchman and the people.
