    Aug 24 2024

Welcome to season 3, episode 14 of The Inquizition a podcast for quiz and trivia lovers everywhere. Contestants battle it out to become the Masters of the Inquizition with Irish quizmaster Luke Ryan.

This was a special episode to record, our second recording in the USA and first episode in New Hampshire. I was there visiting by sister and brother, Liam and Bridget and it was wonderful to record with them again, their partners and their mom, Heather and her boyfriend, Jay!

In this episode, the title comes from the family connection of the guests, and Christie made the glorious shambolic mafiaesque cover imagery!

As all the contestants are American, there were a lot of American based questions, including national creatures, football (soccer ball!), coastlines, presidential trivia, US time zones, some scandals (there have been a few!)

There is also a round on recent European history to see how well our contestants were paying attention to matters across the pond for the last few years.

And as an English teacher, a matter close to my heart, the difference between Irish/British English and American English so there in a round testing our contestants’ knowledge of that

Not only was there a quiz storm raging inside, there was a glorious storm raging outside for some of the quiz so you may hear the odd roll of thunder, plus the odd dog!

Team 1 (Houston) – Bridget Willse, Heather Peterson Cantagallo and Jay

Team 2 (Reno) – Liam Sherwin, Kennedy Pysz and Ian Willse
