My guest is the extraordinary Dr. Richard Allen Williams, a world renowned cardiologist. He founded the Association of Black Cardiologist 50 years, when there was only 2 Black Caridiologists in the United States. He founded the Minority Health Institute when it was not popular to talk of the health disparities between the races. He is an international on hypertension, healthcare disparities, diabetes, obesity,heart failures and sudden cardiac death. He was honored by the American Heart Association with their LifeSaver Award.

Additionally... he is a renowned jazz trumpeter, who has worked or learned from some of the jazz icons of all time. It is a MARVELOUS episode!!!

A personal favorite episode of a person who was a child star on Broadway in 1955, an Ikette with Tina Turner, sang with Little Richard and David Ruffin on his first solo album after the Temptations and a founding member of great iconic groups of the 70's...the Honey Cone...who had a triumph recent concert in Atlantic City.
