About this listen
Bonjour, my name is André Chevalier. It has been my joy and my great honor to help those who have lost their way. Not long after I began my journey, I met two such wounded souls.
Renata Koreman is my little mouse. She came to me as a child - shy, mute, injured, and broken. It took oh-so-many years to start to bring her back to herself. Yet, I could not fully heal her.
Years later, Grant Wilkinson, he, too, fell into my hands. The ex-Army Ranger was badly disfigured and saw himself as a monster. Isolated by secrets, solitary, and self-contained, his colleagues affectionately named him "Frosty". Yet, how should one behave when besieged by a lifetime of confusion and guilt?
The moment I saw him, I thought of her and I wondered. The eyes, they cannot always see clearly. And the heart? Ah, the heart can only guess at the truth. So it was that I remained uncertain.
Could the mouse and the monster heal each other?
Behind a backdrop of secrets, scandal, and murder, Abuse: The Complete Trilogy (Abuse, Accuse, Avenge) is a realistic journey full of healing, twists, turns, and surprises.

A lot of book for one credit
This one is definitely worth a credit. It's dark and has a lot going on so it held my attention for the 20 some hours of listening. Be aware of trigger warnings because they are real and in this book. From the beginning this book puts you in an emotional head space and just knocks you all around from there. Two thumbs up for Roberto Scarlato and the many voices he was able to perform for this book.

Great value box set
Abuse
Lots of ground works in this book. I feel that this trilogy is going to have a hell of a lot of twists and turns.
Accuse
This second book is more of the emotional side of abuse. This therapy makes this book very interesting! Looking forward to the last book to tie up all the loose ends.
Avenge
What an ending! There is quite a few WTF moments in this book. I must confess I didn’t see that ending. Great to see how two abuse survivors make their way in life.

Superb.
This is a stunningly complex, compelling and intense book, both to read and to listen to. It has such rich characterisation, a plot which is totally engrossing and an excellent narrator in Roberto Scarlato. I have been completely engaged in this story. Andre Chevalier is an enigmatic, beautifully drawn character, and, with Grant and Renata, Edgar and Roman, and many other cleverly realised actors on the stage of this trilogy, you have an incredible listening experience. I encourage you to start listening to this series immediately. It is one of the best audios I have listened to for a long time as it not only explores and developed a fantastic plot, but courageously addresses incredibly sensitive and important issues.

Wow
You can tell a tremendous amount of research went into this box set! There is a lot of depth to the characters, and you’ll be on an emotional rollercoaster just like the characters. Roberto did a decent job, there were areas that could have been improved but overall a decent job.

Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession
This is one powerful story, abuse is a very sensitive subject, but Nikki Sex tackled it brought it to life. The characters are all well developed individuals with there own issues and layers. There has to have been a lot of time, effort, study put into the development of the plot and storyline of this trilogy. Secrets, lies, scandal, twists, turns, murder, healing, a wow wasn’t expecting that moment and a HEA.

An epic set of books!!
Nikki Sex is easily one of my favorite authors. This series is a perfect example of why. Not only is it a sexy and satisfying romance it's also an incredibly compelling social commentary. She touches on subjects that are often considered taboo. She creates characters that are deeply complex and relatable. Wrapping it all up in a story that leaves you both thoughtful and completely satisfied.
Roberto's performance was absolutely fantastic!! He portrayed all the characters amazingly. He drew me into the story and I easily got lost in his voice.

High Octane Emotions! - Awesome!!
This has got to be one of the most stunning emotional series of books I have ever read!
Horrifically subject matter handled in the most amazing sensitive way!
I laughed, cryed, got angry and sad and followed the highs and the lows of the characters!! I felt like I was going through therapy myself as the advice given by Andre and Renata apply to so many things in my life as well as those of the characters!!
Writing at its purest!!
Highly recomended!!
Brilliant Narration!
