Summary
Debbie was into the bookie for $1,000 when she made another bet. She thought it was a good bet until the other team intercepted the ball with a minute to go, then kicked a winning field goal. Talk about dumb luck.
That night, the bookie came by. He came then because he knew she'd be alone. He knew her husband worked nights.
