About this listen

Only his ropes can unravel the past.

I never thought I’d see him again, but when my former best friend shows up ready to make amends, it becomes clear just how tied to the past I am. He disappeared when I needed him the most, leaving me to navigate my truth alone. Now he’s back.

Nixon’s art leaves me vulnerable, defenseless - and I like it. Bound by desire and past hurts, giving him complete control might be exactly what I need to set me free. What neither of us expected? The ropes free him, too....

Free Me is a sensual second-chance, former-friends-to-lovers, bisexual awakening story featuring shibari. It is book three in the Tattoos and Temptation series, featuring hot Miami nights, Latin desserts, and guys with ink.

Sensual and beautiful

Story: An incredibly sensual story. I love how the author captured the nature of shibari and how it was beautifully written into the chemistry between the MCs. A great approach to the theme and an awesome take on second chance and friends to lovers tropes. I enjoyed every second of it!
Narration: Very easy to follow and a very emotional performance. Great fit for the story!

Brilliant

Love this series
Nix and Tate's story is so sweet x They haven't seen each other for years after Tate told Nix he was gay.
They reconnected and started building a relationship again.
Kate's narration is beautiful, full of emotion.

So emotional

I love this series and this is a great addition to it. If I could give this story more than five stars I would. The story starts so tragic. I can’t imagine having a son like Tate and him feeling like he doesn’t fit anywhere even though he has made quite a group of friends. To find out his back story made me cry. Then when Nix was tossed into the story I felt so sad for them both. This author has a way of getting me attached to her characters so I feel I actually know them. I could understand how Tate was unable to trust anyone and how Nix was trying to hold on to his beliefs. The connection between these two is so hot that I just felt they really needed the communication to try and work things out. The author knows how to bring out all my emotions in her stories. The parent part made me happy and mad. The ending is perfect. I had read the book before and I wish I had skipped the book. The narration by Kale Williams really brought the characters and story to life.
