Gabriel and Sarah
This is a mafia love story with a difference, Sarah is a surgeon who whilst rushing to the hospital to perform a life-saving surgery is involved in an accident, which caused the death of Gabriel’s brother.
This in turn forces Gabriel to become the head of his mafia family, despite having lived a life as a stockbroker for many years.
Gabriel decides to gain revenge on the woman responsible for his brothers death, but when he meets her face-to-face, he realises he doesn’t want to kill her. He wants to seduce her to own her and to control her.
Little does he realise that Sarah is about to change his life. Because he falls in love with Sarah who wonder of wonders falls in love with this wicked, sexy alpha male. I’m not going to give any more spoilers for this book, but I will tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it. It surprised me with the twists and turns and complexity of the story.
The narration was wonderfully well performed in duet by Thomas Locklear and Ri Paige. I make it a point to listen to as many books as I can narrated by Thomas as he never fails to excite and always delivers a wonderful performance. His partner this time Ri did a wonderful job bringing Sarah’s character to life These two proved to be a great team.

Mafia thrilling romance
This is a thrilling series featuring Gabriel and Sarah. Gabriel takes charge of the Costa Nostra family following his brother's death, in which Sarah is somehow involved. Initially seeking revenge, Gabriel finds himself irresistibly drawn to Sarah. Betrayal, deception, and unexpected twists drive the story forward. The audiobook has an excellent narration by Thomas Locklear and Ri Paige, who bring out the sizzling chemistry between the main characters. Sarah is portrayed as a strong and defiant individual, while Gabriel embodies the alpha male with dominating tendencies.

dark and delicious story.
A Riveting story from Piper Stone I couldn't stop listening.
Yes I listened to the audiobook version of this book and it was AMAZING.!!
Thomas Lockclear and Ri Paige are Phenomenal narrating this book,their performances are so compelling and their voices draw you into the story completely.
changing in accents and the way they use their voices for different characters is brilliant and its so easy to forget there is only two narrators reading the story.
This is book 1 in this new series from Piper Stone and its starts off with a bang..!!
Gabriel is a member of a very powerful Mafia family so you can imagine they have enemies.
Sarah is a surgeon and gets caught in a whole mess of a Mafia war by being involved in a car accident that kills Gabriels brother.
Gabriel believes that the accident is suspicious and his brother was murder intentionally and Sarah is involved...So he kidnaps her to punish her for her part in his brothers death.
But Sarah is more than he bargained for as she is his perfect woman and as they spend time together and share many steamy passionate moments..Hate soon becomes Love.
There is so much to this story you have to pay attention for the twists and turns.
I really enjoyed the rollercoaster ride that it took me on,Piper's writing is so addicting I was totally enthralled in Gabriel's and Sarah's romance.
It may not be your normal conventional love story but it is one that will not disappoint for sexiness,and romance action and suspense.
Loved it.
EXCELLENT.

Just hot amazing dual narration from Thomas Locklear and Ri Paige, both so perfect and steam
Gabriel is demanding and domineering, and like Gabriel Sarah she has a successful career. Sarah sees Gabriel for who he truly is. Both come from a dysfunctional families. When these get together , the heat if off the charts. Loved Gabriel's sisters.
If you love heat, romance, action this is one for you.

Fantastic characters
This book has wonderful characters. The strength and determination they have to find justice is great. I love the chemistry between them. A brilliant performance from both Ri and Thomas.

New Series 🙌
What a great story. Truly engaging. Thank G’D the author knew that we definitely don’t need more pomp & circumstances where erotica or BDSM is concerned. We prefer the realism of it. Especially with the (sadistic pain play) scenario of the BDSM genre. Which in this story we not overtly sold a wowed 😱🤩 (how dull)… with flashy expensive apparel, sex toys & red room boudoirs (yawing) just for a crude spanking-The more raw it can be, the better for the imagination and a dark mafia romance needs that, rawness.

Dark Alpha Mafia Takeover
Dark, alpha takeover.
It starts with an auto accident that changes both lives of the main two characters.
Sarah is a surgeon who was involved in that accident. While trying to get back to her normal after finding out that the other driver lost his life, she meets a beautiful, rich stranger who overtakes her mind and body. He’s god like and is interested in her! He brings Sarah to life with his wicked dark and sensual ways but she’s leery of him. And maybe she should be.
Gabriel is the stockbroker he claimed to be with Sarah upon meeting her but he’s also so much more. Thomas brought him to life, with his sensual alpha ways. Making it sizzling to listen to. Wholly hotness this is so darn hot!
Sarah is a spitfire and rebelliously fights her attraction to this man who has taken her under his spell.
He’s fighting his attraction to her yet he’s still determined to take control of her and have her under his control. He’s out for revenge yet didn’t realize his instant attraction to her either.
Surprisingly he’s wanted to be her downfall yet it’s turned into something else when these two light fire together when he dominates her.
I’ve always been a fan of Thomas doing Piper Stones books. It’s new having a female narrator as part of this process and Ri Paige is new to me. But her performance as Sarah shows how much sass and defiance she had in her.
When these two are together, their world becomes one. And they are so right for each other.
Piper’s start to this series again shows us how seriously hot her dark mafia stories are and her choices of narrators is awesome for her books.
These books are BDSM and are dark. Be warned going in. But Piper shows us how people are made for one another too.

Wasn't enjoyable
I just couldn't get into this book. It was unrealistic and Sarah wasn't smart considering she's a surgeon. I couldn't wait to finish this story.
