Motorcycle Club Romance

King's Conquest by Xavier Neal is a Motorcycle Club romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner. This is the second book in the Camelot Misfits MC series.

I like the relationship that is blooming between Adonis and Imani as the series progresses. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the next book King's Legacy so I can get more of Adonis and Imani's story.

Lacy and Antonio did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MC romances or romantic suspense.

Exciting!

King's Conquest is not a standalone. It picks up right where the cliffhanger ended in book 1, and it also ends in another cliffhanger. I like that we found out who the traitor was early on in this book but there was plenty of new danger and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat all the way until the end. I'm excited to see how it all ends in the next book in the series.
Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner both did a good job bringing this story to life.

King’s Conquest by Xavier Neal

This novel will make you gasp at least once. The narrators fit the characters and dialogue perfectly. The story was short, but packed a lot in a little time. I highly enjoyed it.

The fight continues

This book starts off where we dropped our jaws thinking Oh No Irami!

Imani is one strong willful woman and who better to be Queen to Adonis’s King. We also get to learn more about her family and how the truth facing Irami are not only issues she has to face and deal with. These two are sizzling hot to one another and King’s protectiveness is consuming him.

They final get Biz back but she’s very fragile. In the process of saving her. Imani’s bff loses her life. And the club finds out there’s a traitor among them.

I really enjoy hearing the life in the MC and how they really are one big family. Imani is great with all of them. The MC is still trying to take down the Dread MC and it seems to be putting Imani more and more at risk. Leaving us with another jaw dropping cliffhanger ending.

Amazing acting again from Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner. They were very well cast for this audiobook and are bringing it to life!

Brilliant!!

The Camelot Misfits MC saga continues with King's Conquest, a wonderfully written second instalment. After the cliffhanger ending of King's Return, the first book, I couldn't wait to start the second book. Xavier Neal didn't disappoint; there isn't a dull moment with one twist after another. Imani and Adonis are absolutely amazing; they're closer than ever. Confronting numerous challenges, coming out stronger at the end of each. Imani embraces the MC life and the culture, making new friends and becoming a member of the Camelot Misfits family. The couple's journey is exciting, packed with secrets, danger, suspense, action, and unforeseen twists and turns. I genuinely enjoyed every second of the is audiobook; it's super engaging with fantastic narration.

Lacy Laurel and Antonio Turner did an outstanding with the narration. Their depiction of the characters, emotions, connections, and chemistry was flawless. They made the story and the characters come to life. King's Conquest is a terrific MC Romance and one I'll highly recommend.

My Thoughts on King’s Conquest

This was a really good second part of the trilogy. There was more character and plot development. I enjoyed seeing the strengthening of the bond not just between Imani and King, but also Imani and some of the club members. She is clearly becoming much more settled in her position in his life and by extension his club. This story ended with another shocking cliffhanger but I am so ready for part three and hopefully more of the excellent narration brought in this story.

Adonis & Imani!

On the surface you might think that a woman versed in history and a man who is a member of an MC wouldn’t be a good match, but you couldn’t be more wrong. As Adonis and Imani face family drama, a traitor within the MC and a battle with a rival club they only prove how deep the love and chemistry is between them.

The chemistry between them is intense and the love strong as they support each other through all the ups and downs which leads up to a suspenseful cliffhanger that leaves us wanting more. The narrators brought out the sassiness of Imani and the defender in Adonis as well as how strong they are as individuals as well as a couple. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Good Listen

King will do anything for his Queen even if she does not follow the rules. Now that her life is in danger, he protects her the best way that he can. The only issue is her, she does not want to follow what is best for her because she wants to be independent.
