About this listen
Since she's creeping up on the age of bearing service, the Earth government wants Jassa to have a baby and then hand it off for a family to raise, but Jassa wants her own family. Which means calling Celestial Mates. One questionnaire, a bit of blood, and a race to get away from the Department of Population, and she's got her wish - tall, sexy as hell, and occasionally green alien Vroe, the High Warlord of Vialea.
Vroe aches for a mate who doesn't see him as just a rise in status. He wishes for warmth and affection and goes to Celestial Mates to find...Jassa Marizen. Yet his ideas about mating - Jassa mating him and forever being known as only Vrya - collide with hers. She doesn't want to lose her past. He wants her to embrace her future.
And then there's this other woman.... She just wants Vroe to herself.
Contains mature themes.

Flat story and weak characters
I feel like there was no though behind this. Just some random writing and flat uncreative characters that had nothing to offer.
Not worth it.

Brill narrator, good story
I feel tais is one of the better alien romance stories. There is a subtle underlying humour in the plot which the narrator presents well. The overall story is good and while the characters could do with a little more depth here & there its an enjoyable short novel with decent story and characters. Its a very enjoyable listen. I'm now on to the 2nd story. Narrator is excellent in her presentaion of this story.

Lovely
A great story of love and celestial brides. A great story that had me gripped right from the start and I’m looking forward to more in this series and I we get to hear more joss and bosh story to see how they grow together.
